DataBeyond Technology Signs Agreement with Hubei Microplastics Park for China's Largest Recycled Plastics "Dark Factory" Project

This groundbreaking project aims to achieve a daily production capacity of 700 tons of bottle bricks and an annual production of 200,000 tons of bottle flakes, making it the largest facility of its kind in the country. The factory is capable of processing various types of plastics, including PET, PE, PP, PC, and PVC, enabling a fully automated sorting process for whole bottles. From its inception, this project has garnered immense attention in the industry, employing the latest global production technologies and incorporating dozens of DataBeyond Technology's state-of-the-art sixth-generation optical sorters.

Key features of the project include:

●The AI metal separation optical sorter, capable of sorting containers such as metal bottles, mixed-color bottles, original color HDPE bottles, colored HDPE bottles, milk bottles, oil bottles, and PP bottles from mixed plastics, with or without labels. Notably, it exhibits an identification accuracy rate exceeding 98%, ensuring precise and reliable sorting as the primary checkpoint in the entire bottle sorting process.

●The whole bottle fluorescence aging machine serves as the final quality control measure for whole bottles. It successfully removes fluorescent bottles, aged bottles, weak fluorescent bottles, dirty bottles, PVC-labeled bottles, and sticker bottles while retaining PP-labeled bottles. This expert system safeguards the last stage of bottle sorting and upholds uncompromising standards in quality management.

●In addition, several AI optical sorters are deployed on the auxiliary line to independently sort containers such as mixed-color bottles, original color HDPE bottles, colored HDPE bottles, milk bottles, and oil bottles. This comprehensive approach realizes a fully unmanned operation throughout the factory.

●Moreover, the project introduces the DataBeyond Digital Management System for the entire plant. This system facilitates various processes, including appointment scheduling for material receipt, material quality inspection upon arrival, real-time quality inspection during whole bottle sorting, mutual inspections between pre and post equipment, and final product quality inspection. The implementation of this digitized twinning system ensures seamless integration and enhanced efficiency across the production line.
